Stem cells can turn into any cell in the body, and with CRISPR they can be used to create a modern human-Neanderthal hybrid brain cell. These cells are grown in a lab to form Neanderthal brain organoids to answer questions about evolution, high-level thoughts, and intensity of problem solving.
