Psychedelics have long been known to “open up the mind.” Not exactly a social party drug, psilocybin can lead to profound introspection. The experience is likened here to spending all of one’s waking life in a small part of the mind, just a garden, with psilocybin unlocking a gate leading to a forest and encouraging exploration.
